At Sage Stables, we understand that every horse is unique and has specific needs. That's why we offer a range of customizable care options to ensure that your horse receives the individualized attention they deserve.
Specialized Dietary Plans
Our specialized dietary plans include extra daily feed. We know that senior horses and horses with some medical conditions require more than one feed per day and hay. We are here to aid you and your horse. Whether your horse requires a tailored feeding schedule or additional care, we have the expertise to meet their needs. We know most horses enjoy being out in a field vs. in a stall. However with outdoor board there isn't many options for extra care. We try to work with you to ensure all your horses needs are being met.
Additional Care Services
In addition to our retirement and recreation boarding options, we provide extra care services such as grooming, vet/farrier holding, and a blanket program. Your horse's well-being is our top priority, and our experienced team is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care.
EXTRAS
Lunging/ extra Handling- if you don't have time to exercise your horse and want then handled we can help. Flat hourly rate. Always includes a groom and hoof pick prior to start and a brush down before sending back out. We also offer hand walks in our fields. $30
Grooming- if you would like your horse groomed we can work out a schedule that works best for your horse. $20
Vet/ farrier holding- please check with us for availability, but we always try to accommodate. $20
Blanket program- While we understand there are times you can't make it up and need us to change, add or remove a blanket. However, if its something you just can commit to, We do offer a program in Spring/ Fall when the temperature changes drastically where we will be incharge of blanketing your horse throughout the month. $100/mth.
Extra feed/ medication: We offer one feed per day for outdoor horses. If your horse requires an additional feed/ medication we are able to provide it. Feed to be provided by the owner $75/ month.
